Coultershaw Heritage Site

Set beside the River Rother just south of Petworth, the Coultershaw heritage site features an historic water wheel driven beam pump and many ‘hands-on’ exhibits.

The Coultershaw Heritage Site is centred on a very early (1782) water wheel driven pump which pumped river water 1.5 miles up to Petworth town and Petworth House.
